Gangers Trolley

Many thousands of gangers self-propelled trollies have been built for track maintenance throughout the world.
This example ended up at Tees & Hartlepool Ports Authority, (later PD Ports) in Middlesborough, from whence it was donated to Andrew. It has a non-standard Petter (PH1) engine and had received considerable damage at the engine end, having been struck by a loco.
After several years in store at Andrew's home, agreement was reached with a small group of members of the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway for the vehicle to go to them on indefinite loan. It was transferred on the 22nd August, 2009
