It has been a quiet couple of weeks at the nerve centre of the Andrew Briddon Locos empire, but as usual things are not standing still.
PLUTO
Following completion of a number of repairs to the locomotive at Chatham, Pluto (F C Hibberd "Planet" 4wDM) is ready for collection and due to move later this week. The locomotive was formally inspected on Sunday 6 December.Picture here
SCUNTHORPE - and a request!
The AFRPS group at Scunthorpe has agreed to Andrew's request to keep a stores van at Scunthorpe for the variouis components from D2128 and Beverley that are either already stripped off, or arriving for assembly later. Unfortunately, the vehicle Andrew had intended to buy had ceased to be available in the interim. Consequently he is on the look out to aquire, urgently, either a 12ton box van or a LWB goods van. Anyone out there got one for sale?
