Painting in progress
Over at Elsecar, Andrew is making strides on the repainting of 14 901, with much of the superstructure now in undercoat.

Corrosion on the running plates around and under the two battery boxes is being attended to with a needle gun.

All the casing doors (bar one, which is being particulary stubborn) are off the loco for remedial work and separate painting.

It is hoped that the external paintwork will be near to completion by the end of Easter week.
(Pictures all taken at lunchtime today, 5th April 2010 - one year to the day since 14 901 made its first "solo voyage" over the Elsecar Heritage Railway.)
