Sometime in its life, "Teddy Bear" D9524 lost the distinctive enclosures that house the air horns fore-and-aft of the cab. The original locations were blanked off. Now, thanks to the kind courtesy of Class 14 owners at the Nene Valley Railway (Peterborough) two genuine enclosures, recovered from scrapped members of the class, have beenm donated to Andrew to aid him in returning it to original appearance The enclosures need minor remedial work and modification to suit available air horns, but will soon be fitted to the loco, at Elsecar.
