Description: January 2009 and the Class 14 "look" has been restored with a dual instrument panel in a steel fabrication. One duplex air gauge had still to be aquired, and the speedometer (nearest) was recovered from a class 47 and suggests considerable optimism!

Description: Without the 110V electrics, all the control cubicle which normally occupies the front (engine) bulkhead on a class 14 was missing. The decision was taken to restore a smaller control panel to house the main 24V electrical system and primary instrumentation. Here is the cabinet installed in January 2009.

Description: The former Class 31 exhauster is now in place and the front (well, rear on the loco) mount is being secured. As the exhauster previously took support from its 110V motor, the new mount picks up on the former motor mount holes. The Distributor pokes down from top right of picture, and the view is taken through the end casing doors.
